About Barefoot Botanicals

Barefoot Botanicals began when Jonathan stallick and Hilery Dorrian met through a shared love of natural medicine, but the story is far more interesting that that! Barefoot Botanicals has its roots in a problem that's usually talked about in hushed whispers: head lice. Hilery's daughter was effected by an outbreak at her school, so Hilery set of to the shops to find a natural head lice treatment – but couldn't find one or anything that she was prepared to put on her daughters head.

Jonathan and Hilery discussed her to dilemma and together they started working on formulating their own product. The product worked wonderfully and this is where Barefoot Botanicals was born.

The Company's name was inspired by the ancient Chinese tradition of barefoot doctors who travelled from village to village without shoes, dispensing wisdom and remedies. Barefoot Botanicals took this inspiration and developed a range of natural, effective skincare and haircare remedies for the 21st Century.
